Psychiatric and Psychological Services
The goal of our practice is to provide the highest level of care to our patients in order to improve their mental health and well-being. We believe that it is vital to develop a sound collaborative relationship with our patients, one based on trust, honesty, respect, and confidentiality. With a deep commitment and active participation from both doctor and patient, we believe our patients can make significant changes to improve their lives in many ways.
We offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our patients. Our doctors provide individual psychotherapy, as well as family, marital, and group therapy. In addition, our psychiatrists provide pharmacological interventions when clinically indicated. Philosophically, we consider each patient as a whole person, rather than as a set of symptoms, and work with our patients to create plans that consider their strengths as well as limitations. In our work with children and adolescents, we believe it is extremely important to work with parents, schools, pediatricians, and other professionals as needed to assist in treatment planning.
Our professionals are highly qualified, experienced clinicians who utilize a variety of theoretical orientations, interventions, and methodologies. Together, we have experience providing treatment for a broad range of issues, including, but not limited to, mood and anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, adjustment disorders, divorce, loss, anger management, attention disorders, family conflict, parenting education, performance enhancement training, and substance abuse. In addition, our office provides complete psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for school-aged children through college-aged adults and beyond. These evaluations include recommendations for home, school, career, and therapy, and we provide follow-up consultation, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy whenever needed.
